The Academy of Country Music Awards are one of the highlights of the year for the Country community. Fans, artists and radio personalities take over Las Vegas to celebrate another fabulous year of great music, incredible songwriters, show-stopping tours and storytelling music videos. This year’s show promised to be something special, and we were thrilled to be along for the ride. Our involvement with the ACMs this time around was the biggest in Randi Events history, with 5 events throughout the weekend. CEO Randi Lesnick and our team flew to Vegas to make the impossible possible in the party capital of the world.

It all started with a party for Big Machine Label Groups’ own Thomas Rhett, one of the newest spokespersons for the General Mills organization, Outnumber Hunger. The radio remote and private performance went off without a hitch – it was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Our crew spent the next few days getting ready for the big event, Sunday’s awards, walking through venues to make sure everything was ready to go. Load-ins started across the city as our great partner vendors got to work bringing our designer’s plans to life.

The first event on Sunday was a pre-show party for aviation mogul CESSNA, backstage at the TMobile arena. Blue couches and lighting and beautiful draping provided the perfect setting for staff to mix and mingle before the awards began. The highlight of the event was the Big Machine artists who stopped by to say hello.

Once the Awards show let out it was time for us to really do our thing. Thousands of show attendees flocked to after parties, and we threw two of the biggest ones. Sony Music Nashville artists, staff and friends headed to the HYDE lounge in the TMobile arena, where we partnered with Hostess Snacks to create a delicious and creative display of their best products. The folks from Big Machine Label Group enjoyed their own party with food, drink, and music at Sake Rok on the Vegas strip. Everyone had a great time celebrating the night’s winners and looking back on a stellar year.

We were thrilled to be asked by BMW of Nashville to throw a party for the unveiling of the new 5 Series. Track One was the perfect place for this event, both for the modern industrial feel and for the space. The large venue provided plenty of room for BMW employees, friends and guests to mix and mingle in and around two covered cars in the middle of the floor. When the official unveiling happened part way through the evening, everybody ooh’d and aah’d over the gorgeous vehicles. One of our main goals for this event was to make the night an interactive experience, and it definitely delivered. In addition to sitting in and playing with the cars, attendees enjoyed a photo booth, a caricature artist and the chance to feel like a star on the red carpet. And of course, they wined and dined! The impressive food display included upscale fruit and caricature, sliders and a variety of mouthwatering passed appetizers. The full bar also included a specialty drink called “The 5” named after the car and colored blue to fit the color scheme. The BMW logo colors, black, white, silver and blue were present throughout the room, in the linen, the furniture, and the many custom features. The custom gobos, sunglasses, goodie bags, snapchat filter and pillows on the soft seating furniture all contained the BMW logo! The band, Burning Las Vegas, kept the energy up all night, playing old and new hits for the dancing crowd. Door prizes were drawn towards the end of the evening, and three guests left with beautiful pieces of artwork featuring the Nashville feel mixed with the BMW brand. It was a fantastic night and we look forward to doing more with this client in the future!

Ascend Federal Credit Union opened a brand-new branch in Hendersonville and we were there to help kick off their success with a grand opening! Not far from the heart of downtown Nashville, this location is the first of its kind in the state of Tennessee, offering a new video conferencing teller system that enables members to interact with a live person through the Passport system. Ascend team members and partners from all over the state came together to celebrate the groundbreaking technology, the gorgeous new facility, and the growth of the company. With a delicious brunch style buffet from G Catering featuring white chocolate biscotti, Scottish egg bites, mini beef sliders, fruit skewers and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We decorated the branch lobby with charcoal linens to match the red and grey company colors and floral displays from Branching Out that incorporated red and orange tones of fall with bursts of blue to make the desk and podium arrangements pop. Custom take-aways covered the tables, including branded coffee cups, cell phone ID holders and magnetized clips. Ascend Senior VP addressed the crowd, thanking everyone for their continued dedication to providing their members with the best service possible. Attendees also enjoyed custom caricature drawings on site by Tracy Latham who created portraits of staff, members, and guest alike. Additional remarks were made by the Hendersonville branch manager, and Ascend Chief Marketing Officer handed out door prizes including concert tickets at the jointly named Ascend Amphitheater and VISA gift cards to a handful of lucky winners. Following the presentations, everyone went outside for a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony. With new Ascend branches popping up all over Tennessee in the coming months we’re excited to be a part of future openings!

This corporate client has been with us for years and we pulled out all the stops for their latest leadership retreat. With an intimate singer/songwriter night at the Country Music Hall of Fame and two post-meeting dinner receptions at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center they got the full Music City experience. We chose fall décor and unique color schemes each night, but the custom branding was consistent across all three events. It’s also great to show clients how we can incorporate their name and style into everything we do!

It was an incredible morning for Navi Health’s 2016 annual kick-off meeting at The Factory at Franklin — where 275 employees came to listen and discuss what “drives” them to greatness.

“Drive” was the inspiration for this year’s theme as Navi Health’s top executives spoke about a contribution to society, as their company tag line is “To Do Good” for their patients and society.  Energy, focus, purpose, determination, intention, and discipline were among the topics discussed. Navi Health empowers its patients to optimize their recovery process through a positive, uplifting journey.

We played off of the “Drive” theme with checkered black and white linens and flags; glass vases filled with mini race-cars and nuts & bolts. And, you can’t have a meeting that’s all work & no play — that would be “exhausting.” So, we brought in car-simulator games to get guests going in the early morning! Thanks, Navi Health, for letting us be a part of your 2016 meeting — we had so much fun getting everyone “revved” up for the new year.

When the idea of bringing a “winter wonderland” to Marathon Music Works for our January 16th corporate holiday party came about, we were SO excited to get started!! Nashville was finally getting chilly and what better way to celebrate the new year than with an icy blue-out event?! It wasn’t quite cold enough for snow at the time, but we found a way to make it snow in Nashville! Guest walked into the venue under a light dusting of “snow” as we brought the winter wonderland to life.

We brought in all white leather and silver metallic furniture (yes, silver metallic!!) adorned with white fur rugs and our favorite cozy white fireplaces. All tables were dressed in white sequin linen to really make the room’s blue wash ‘pop’.  Now for the table arrangements – WOW! The Enchanted Florist blew us away with their modern, white florals with white feather accents.  They were the perfect touch in creating our crisp, iced-out event.

Attendees had the option of challenging their co-workers in ski-ball and basketball shoot outs.  Whether they were playing games or making silly faces in the photo booth, they definitely found time to sketch on the 12×12 virtual graffiti wall we brought in.  Here’s the scoop: You take your photo in front of the green screen and then are able to “spray” virtual graffiti on your picture to add fun touches. 🙂

When planning the menu, we really wanted traditional winter dishes.  G Catering knocked our socks off with their classic pot roast and sausage stuffing, no guests left hungry!

Each December, The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) hold their annual holiday party here in Nashville, Tennessee. The event includes a raffle with luxurious prizes and fun gifts for everyone.

This year- we went with a “Great Gatsby” theme, which let’s be honest- it’s the best theme ever! The event was held at the Cannery Ballroom- a perfect fit for the crowd. The design featured a jaw dropping, feather chandelier at the gold draped, grand entrance. The black and gold sequin linens were the perfect touch to tie in The Great Gatsby theme- very Art DecoJ The guests dined on a custom menu from G-Catering which featured a prohibition themed ice cream bar complete with alcohol infused ice cream, can you say yummy!? Throughout the night, the guests were able to play blackjack, roulette and even Texas hold em’. The night was a success and we cannot wait to work with the TSCPA crew in the future. 🙂

We had the best time designing this fabulous event at Homestead Manor. It was a picture-perfect setting for a corporate gala. We wanted to mix colors, textures and patterns in this design, we did so by using different types of specialty linen throughout the space.

We paired a linen that was 50 shades of blueJ with a solid burgundy linen and topped them both with gold accents galore! The florals consisted of ivories, greenery and burgundy with touches of navy throughout. The ice gold chargers were flawless on the dinner tables. Now that we’re on the subject of dinner, can we please talk about the deep fried candy bars?! They were AMAZING! Johnny & The Loveseats were the entertainment for the evening- man does he have some pipes! It was truly a great fun filled night! We’re already planning the next event with this corporate client. 🙂

Making sure their guests were comfortable and relaxed during the presentation they raised the bar for the standard PowerPoint presentations. Creating artwork on the walls that were interchanging between slides, this is definitely something Labels and Industry individuals alike will be talking about the “Rare” presentations for days to come! Randi Events produced another stellar corporate holiday party last weekend. Playing off of Nashville’s chilly weather, designer, Julia Page used glittering white tones and sparkling glass globes to turn the space into wintery perfection.

Guests were able to press their luck at different casino games like blackjack and roulette, the more they rolled the dice, the more chances they had to win fantastic prizes at the end of the night! We even a had cash cube where guests were placed inside with a certain amount of time to catch as much paper money as possible, talk about a good time! Our guests grooved out to the extremely talented Tyler Gordon, one of our favorite local musicians.  In addition to mouthwatering fare like roasted brussels, Jack Daniel’s short ribs, and potatoes au gratin, we created a specialty drink that dreams are made of, brace yourself…. a S’mores Martini with a graham cracker rim! We know, you want one, right?  Stay tuned next week for the recipe:) Our guests didn’t walk away empty handed we were sure to satisfy everyone’s sweet/savory tooth by having customized popcorn bags for the guests to take home! How great is that?! We can’t wait for the next event with this fun-loving crew!
