Event Date: August 29, 2015
Event Designer: Sarah Miller & Grey Boroff
Ceremony: Church of the Assumption
Reception Venue: War Memorial Auditorium

We couldn’t think of a better way to finish out our summer wedding season than the beautiful wedding ceremony and reception of Brandi Nuss and Josh Dupre. The ceremony was held at Church of the Assumption in Historic Germantown here in Nashville. The ceremony backdrop was absolutely incredible- adorned with magnificent architecture. The service was filled with lots of happy tears and special touches. For instance, Brandi’s mom, dad, and big brother “gave her away” and the couple recited handwritten vows and Josh even presented Brandi with a “final red rose” after one of their favorite shows, The Bachelor (she accepted)!

After the ceremony, it was time to par-tay! The guests were taken via trolley to the reception where they were greeted with refreshing appetizers like caprese tarts and strawberry bruschetta crostini’s! After cocktail hour, guests were welcomed into the reception with champagne cocktails decked out with gold rims! The color scheme was glam to the max- blush tones with gold, gold and more gold and our favorite variation, rose gold. The head table was the focal point of the room. We wanted to add dimension to the table so we used varying vase heights and styles with dazzling ivory, blush and white flowers.

After speeches and first dances it was time to grab some delicious grub and since our groom was from Louisiana we wanted to tie in some Cajun fare, shrimp and grits, anyone??!! Brandi surprised Josh with the coolest groom’s cake, modeled after her sweet little pup Bambi!

Guests danced the night away to and were treated to a special “secret” dance choreographed by the bride and her bridesmaids. Not to be upstaged by Brandi and her girls, Josh whipped some smooth moves out on the dance floor. In true Louisiana fashion, Brandi and Josh exited the reception with a traditional Second Line March complete with black and white umbrellas and guest waving paper napkins. We sent the couple off with well wishes and illuminated the night sky with glow in the dark balloons!

Brandi and Josh were an absolute treat to work with and we wish them all of the happiness in the world.
